Crypto payment integration
Scope wallet or crypto-processor connections for digital-asset payment requests, statuses and accounting.
The integration in practice
A crypto payment is not complete when an address is displayed. Confirmation rules, exchange-rate handling and settlement accounting need defined owners.
Core interface requirements
- Processor or custody model, wallet addresses and supported networks.
- Payment creation, transaction references and network confirmations.
- Rate quotation, expiry, final state and reconciliation.
- Withdrawal controls, callback security and exception handling.
Asset support and legal eligibility depend on the processor, jurisdiction and operator policy; we make no custody or licensing claims.
How this connection takes shape
These steps describe the technical questions to resolve. The final implementation and deliverables are defined from the actual systems involved.
Choose payment custody and rails
Identify whether a regulated payment processor, third-party wallet service or separately managed wallet will handle addresses and asset movements.
Specify confirmation policy
Document supported networks, token precision, quotation expiry, acceptable confirmations and how overpayments or wrong-network transfers are treated.
Link crypto events to the ledger
Normalize blockchain or processor references to platform transaction IDs and define when a deposit or withdrawal is final.
What we need to review
- Asset list, networks and processor/custody model
- Markets, compliance constraints and fiat reporting currency
- Wallet ledger, payout approvals and rate-conversion rules
Acceptance cases to plan
- A transaction on an unsupported network does not silently count as paid.
- Changes in blockchain confirmations follow the documented state policy.
- Accounting and rate conversion retain the transaction’s original quote details.
Questions to resolve before delivery
Is a blockchain address enough to integrate crypto payments?
No. You also need reliable payment status, confirmations, refund/exception rules and settlement records.
Who controls exchange rates?
The responsible service must be identified and its quote validity and reconciliation format documented.
Can customers pay with several networks?
Possibly, but each supported chain and asset must be configured and validated. The user interface must make destination and network requirements unambiguous.
Do you hold client crypto assets?
This page describes integration scope and does not make a custody claim. The actual asset handler and commercial responsibilities must be specified separately.
